Genesis V Salmon Author, Entrepreneur, & Follower of Jesus
Genesis V. Salmon is a passionate author renowned for her faith-filled children's books, including The Cup in the Master's Hand and the Clay’s Adventures Series. A devoted mother of two teenagers, with a third child on the way through international adoption, she has been happily married to her husband for 19 years.
As a successful entrepreneur, Genesis owns a business that has supported immigrant workers for the last 20 years, helping them come to the United States and providing vital assistance to families seeking better opportunities. Her efforts not only enrich the lives of these workers but also play a crucial role in addressing labor shortages within the agricultural industry. Additionally, her rental property business, Genesis Generation Homes, strives to provide quality housing and make affordable living available to low-income families.
Although raised in the church, Genesis was not called to ministry until November 2020, when a radical encounter with God led to a supernatural awakening in her life. This transformative experience ignited her passion for preaching the gospel and sharing her faith. Alongside her parents, she is an ordained Pastora at Genesis the Church in Acuña, Mexico, where she actively participates in missions and church activities. She also teaches Bible study classes in the women’s ministry at her local church. Having been invited to minister at numerous women’s events, she is committed to glorifying God in all she does.
Genesis has cherished children's books since her youth and has held a strong faith in Jesus Christ since childhood. Writing children's literature has been a lifelong dream, fueled by the joy of sharing bedtime stories with her own children. These treasured moments inspired her to create her own stories, leading to the development of her Christian children's brand, I’m Clay by Genesis, based on Isaiah 64:8: “He is the potter, and we are the clay.” This brand aims to engage children's imaginations while providing parents with spiritual insight.
In a world filled with distractions and societal pressures, Genesis finds purpose in helping families learn God’s Word, guiding them to discover their true identity in Christ. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she has also launched a blog to inspire women and offer hope through Jesus Christ and His Word.
