Author, Entrepreneur, & Follower of Jesus

Genesis V. Salmon is a passionate author, faith-driven entrepreneur, and devoted servant of Christ. Known for her Christ-centered life and inspiring children’s books—The Cup in the Master’s Hand and the beloved Clay’s Adventures series—Genesis channels her creativity and calling into every story she writes. A devoted wife of 19 years and mother to two teenagers, she is currently expanding her family through international adoption—a journey that reflects her deep commitment to love, service, and living with eternal purpose.

For more than two decades, Genesis has led a successful business connecting immigrant workers with legal employment opportunities in the U.S. Her work not only meets critical labor shortages but also supports families seeking better futures. Through her real estate company, Genesis Generation Homes, she provides affordable, housing for low-income families.

Although raised in the church, Genesis experienced a radical spiritual awakening in November 2020 that deepened her relationship with God and affirmed her calling to ministry. Today, she serves as an ordained pastor—alongside her parents—at Genesis the Church in Acuña, Mexico. There, she actively participates in mission work and is one of the overseers for both the women’s and children’s ministries. She also leads women’s Bible studies through her local church and is a sought-after speaker at Christian women’s events, boldly sharing the hope of the gospel with authenticity and power.

A lifelong lover of children’s literature, Genesis’s writing journey began with bedtime stories for her own children. That spark led to the creation of her Christian children’s brand, I’m Clay by Genesis, inspired by Isaiah 64:8: “He is the potter, and we are the clay.” Each book uniquely weaves imagination for children with revelation for adults.

In a world filled with noise and shifting values, Genesis is deeply committed to helping families build a firm foundation in God’s Word and discover their true identity in Christ. Guided by the Holy Spirit, she also authors It's a Flow blog dedicated to encouraging women and proclaiming the life-changing hope found in Jesus.
